Yolanda Zuniga

Yolanda S. Zuniga, age 73, passed away on August 7, 2016. She was born on September 18, 1942 to Horacio Sarabia and Amelia Hinojosa in Kingsville, Texas. She taught for around 35 years at Kingsville ISD and worked in administration with KISD and also taught at St. Martins Catholic School.
She is survived by her husband, Zaragoza Zuniga Sr; three sons, Antonio (Michelle) Zuniga, Eloy (Monica) Zuniga, Zaragoza (Edwina) Zuniga; one daughter, Selina (Thomas) Terry Jr.; one sister, Grace (Randy) Gunnip; one brother, Rolando (Gloria) Sarabia; and one brother, who preceded her in death, Horacio Sarabia Jr. who is survived by his wife Geri Sarabia; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great-granddaughters.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Martins Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
