Yolanda Alaniz

Yolanda M. Alaniz, age 64, a resident of Grand Prairie, Texas and a former resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015 in Grand Prairie. Yolanda was born August 25, 1950 in Kingsville to Cristobal Martinez and Consuelo Garcia Martinez. Mrs. Alaniz was employed as a secretary for a lawyer's firm until her retirement.
She is survived by one son, Oscar Wayne Alaniz (Judy) of Grand Prairie, Texas; five brothers, Cristobal Martinez Jr. (Betty) of Edroy, Texas, Alfredo Martinez of Kingsville, Valentin Martinez of Dallas, Texas, Ramiro Martinez and Rogelio Martinez, both of Kingsville; one sister, Lisa Martinez (Dan) of Corpus Christi, Texas; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will take place after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Resthaven Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
