Xavier Puente, Sr.

Xavier Felimon Puente Sr., age 62, a resident of Bishop, Texas passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born May 1, 1952 in Bishop to Felimon Puente and Elida Contreras Puente. Mr. Puente was a selfemployed musician. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Bishop.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Felimon Puente Jr.
Xavier is survived by his wife of 36 years of marriage, Sylvia G. Puente of Bishop two sons, Xavier Felimon Puente Jr. Veronica of Chula Vista, California and Marcos Antonio Puente of Corpus Christi, Texas two daughters, Maricela P. Cuellar Leonel of Kingsville, Texas and JoAnn Serrano of Alice, Texas six grandchildren, Xavier F. Puente III, Zander Dylan Puente, Lindsey B. Cuellar, Brandon L. Cuellar, Braden L. Cuellar and Kaylen R. Puente three brothers, Jaime Puente Elena of Bishop, Robert Puente Ofilia and Ruben Puente Mirta, both of Corpus Christi two sisters, Mary Lou Gonzales Jose of Houston, Texas and Anabel Palacios Librado of Kingsville and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visitation will take place after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 4, 2014 at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Bishop at St. James Catholic Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
