Wilma Jean Elsik Prejean was called home to be with our Lord on May 7, 2024. “Jean”, as she was known by family and friends, was born on May 24, 1926, and would have turned 98 years of age in just a few weeks. She was born to Lula Parmley and Frank John Elsik in Kingsville, Texas.

Jean enjoyed spending time at the Elsik family beach property on Baffin Bay, boating and fishing with family and friends. She also had a lifelong passion for gardening. Her gardens were beautiful, and she spent many hours in their care. In her younger days, Jean was a competitive bowler who won championships in league play.
