William “Billy” Robert Holland and Alma Yvonne Holland, long time residents of Kingsville Tx, passed away in Frisco Texas where they had been living. Billy passed on April 30, 2020 while Yvonne passed on May 24, 2020. The couple had been married for 38 years.
Billy was born and lived in Corpus Christi, Texas, graduated from Ray High School and went on to graduate from Del Mar College in 1969. He worked some time for Electrotex as a salesman where he met Yvonne at the family store, Television Center in Kingsville. They were married and worked together until their retirement.
Yvonne was born and raised in Riviera, Texas were she graduated from Riviera High School in 1954 and went on to attend Texas A&I University. She went to work and eventually own the family business, Television Center on 14th street, a well known business in the Kingsville community. She was a member of the Business and Profession Women's Club where she was awarded Woman of the Year. She and Billy were faithful members of First Baptist Church Kingsville where she enjoyed singing in the choir and he managed the sound system.
Together they are survived by 4 children: Mark (Dora) Corley, Ruth Ann (Brad) Baas, Robin (John) Myers, and Tami (Scott) Holland, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A small memorial service will be held for the family and they will be laid to rest at Resthaven Cemetery. Rev. Ron Early will officiate.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Texas 78363.
