William Creekmore

William "Bill" C. Creekmore, age 88, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 in Kingsville. He was born April 5, 1928 in Alma, Arkansas to Alton B. Creekmore and Golda Ruth Blaylock Creekmore. Bill attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas and graduated from Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas with a degree in Business. He was the owner of Taylor Rental, Kingsville. Mr. Creekmore was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a U.S. Army and Air Force veteran.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Keith Creekmore and Kyle Creekmore; brother, Tom Creekmore; and sister, Dody Buddy.
Mr. Creekmore is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marylyn Creekmore of Kingsville; two sons, Kenneth Creekmore and wife Lynda of Bayview, Texas and Kirk Creekmore of Corpus Christi, Texas; three daughters, Karen Creekmore of Corpus Christi, Kathryn Childs and husband Kevin of Lake Jackson, Texas and Kaleen Meyer of California; one sister, Patsy Oates of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren, Ross Creekmore, Kat Creekmore, Janelle Childs, Chelsey Childs, Andrea Meyer and Jon Meyer; and one great-granddaughter, Reyanna Whitmore.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jim C. Curran officiating. Military honors provided by the Veterans of Kleberg County Funeral Military Detail will follow outside of the mortuary building immediately at the conclusion of the memorial service.
