William Cashen

William J. Cashen, age 64, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born April 23, 1951 in Oceanside, California to Dallas John Cashen and Marion Florence Welde Cashen. Mr. Cashen was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam Era serving for 20 years. He was a graduate of Coastal Bend College and Texas A&M University - Kingsville. William was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church. His last place of employment was for Don Brock Industries as a security guard.
William was preceded in death by his parents; and one infant brother, John Chester Cashen.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years of marriage, Connie Cashen of Kingsville; one daughter, Theresa Walker and husband Beau of Kingsville; one son, John Cashen and wife Esmeralda of San Benito, Texas; one sister, Donna Hernandez and husband Alex of Oregon; three brothers, Charles Cashen and wife Lynda, Chet Cashen and Pat Cashen, all of California; five grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Willoughby officiating. Military honors will take place outside of the church immediately after the conclusion of the church service.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, Kingsville, Texas.
