Wesley Goetsch, age 84, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at his residence. He was born January 10, 1933 in Alvin, Texas to Vernon Goetsch and Maude Moneyhon Goetsch. Mr. Goetsch was a graduate of the University of Corpus Christi receiving his B.A. He was the founder of Goetsch Music Store until his retirement. Wesley was a member of Retama Park Baptist Church, Kingsville Elks Lodge #1926 and Chamberlain Masonic Lodge #913.
He was preceded in death by his son, Charlie Goetsch; and parents.
Mr. Goetsch is survived by his wife, Barbara Clark Goetsch of Kingsville; one son, Robert Goetsch and wife Eve of Sugarland, Texas; daughter-in-law, Mary Rodriguez Goetsch of Bishop, Texas; and two grandchildren, Benjamin Charles and Ethan Thomas Goetsch.
Public visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Gary Clements officiating. Immediately after the funeral service, an Elks Service will take place. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
