Virginia Saenz, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on January 2, 2024. She was a remarkable woman whose presence illuminated the lives of all who knew her. Born on August 2, 1975, Virginia lived a life filled with love, joy, and treasured memories.
Family was at the core of Virginia's existence. There was no greater joy for her than spending time with her loved ones, especially during the holidays. Virginia had an exceptional talent for creating culinary delights, and she will always be remembered for making the best fried chicken that brought everyone together around the table.
Virginia had a zest for traveling and shopping was another one of Virginia's true joys in life. Whether it be indulging in some retail therapy or finding unique treasures while traveling, she had an impeccable taste that charmed all those around her. Her collection of Bath and Body Works or Victoria's Secret body sprays became a signature scent that reminded everyone of her vibrant spirit. She had a love for jewelry, Virginia understood that every piece held a story waiting to be told.
Virginia leaves behind a profound legacy of compassion, kindness, and unwavering love.
She is preceded in death by her father, Erasmo Salinas, Jr.; brother, Erasmo Salinas, III.; father-in-law, Fernando Saenz, Sr.; and paternal grandmother, Fidencia Salinas.
Among those left to cherish his memory are her loving husband of 34 years, Fernando Saenz, Jr.; children, Victoria (Carlos Valenzuela) Saenz, Fernando (Jade) Saenz, III., Steven Saenz, Sergio (Brenda Carrillo) Saenz, and Adrian Jacob Saenz; grandchildren, Isabella Saenz, Andres Fernando Saenz, Emma Valenzuela, Damien Valenzuela, Matthew Saenz, Evelyn Saenz, and Ryan Alexander Saenz; mother, Diana Salinas; siblings, Linda Romero, David Salinas, Jessica Chaparro, and Yolanda Salinas; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
The family will receive condolences from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary; with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. A chapel service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Turcotte-Piper Chapel. A rite of committal and interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
