Viola Espinoza

Viola B. Espinoza, age 74, a resident of Riviera, Texas passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 in Riviera. She was born May 20, 1940 in San Diego, Texas to Leonel Barrera Sr. and Luz Casas Barrera. Mrs. Espinoza was of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Arnoldo Barrera.
Mrs. Espinoza is survived by her husband of 57 years of marriage, Emilio C. Espinoza of Riviera three daughters, Norma Soliz and husband Tom and Rosa Espinoza, both of Riviera, and Elda Espinoza of Kyle, Texas two brothers, Leonel Barrera Jr. and wife Barbara of Freer, Texas and Romeo Barrera and wife Linda of San Antonio, Texas one sister, Herminia Mina Barrera of Beeville, Texas six grandsons two granddaughters two greatgreatgrandsons and one greatgreatgranddaughter.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited by Mrs. Gracie Cano at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at St. Francis De Paula Catholic Church, 401 South Victoria Street, San Diego, Texas with Fr. Jairo Motta as celebrant. Burial will follow at Los Reyes Cemetery at Los Reyes Ranch, Duval County, Texas.
