Victoriano Barrientos

Victoriano Barrientos, age 84, a resident of Bishop, Texas passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 in Kingsville, Texas. He was born January 12, 1931 in Harlingen, Texas to Fabian Barrientos and Celestina Alcoser Barrientos. Mr. Barrientos was employed as a farmer for Smith Farms, Bishop, until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Alex Barrientes and Fabian Barrientes.
Mr. Barrientos is survived by his wife of 54 years of marriage, Emma H. Barrientos of Bishop; 10 children, Jesse Hernandez (Peggy) and Bobby Barrientos, both of Houston, Texas, Stella Barrientes of Kingsville, Martha Barrientes of Orange Grove, Texas, Lionel Barrientos, Gabriel Barrientes, David Barrientes (Nora), Victoriano Barrientos Jr., Celia Sandoval (Rene) and Edward Barrientes, all of Bishop; one sister, Elena Vega (Andres) of Corpus Christi, Texas; 33 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited by Carlos Garza Jr. at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. No additional services will be held.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
