Victoriano "Nano" Barrientes, Jr., a beloved member of the community, has sadly passed away on September 9, 2023. He will be remembered as a cherished individual who lived his life with great passion and made lasting impressions on those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Born on December 16, 1968, Victoriano brought joy and laughter into the world. He possessed a captivating personality which was characterized by his great sense of humor. His jokester ways never failed to brighten the room, and he had the remarkable ability to make people laugh even in the most challenging times. This gift was truly cherished by all who crossed paths with him.
Professionally, Nano dedicated many years of his life to Roberto Gaona construction. Through hard work, determination, and a commitment to excellence, he contributed significantly to his field. His dedication and reliability earned him respect and admiration among his colleagues.
Beyond his professional life, Nano held a deep passion for sports. One could often find him passionately supporting his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. His enthusiasm for the team brought him immense joy and created lasting memories shared with friends and family.
Nano is preceded in death by his father, Victoriano Barrientos Sr., who undoubtedly instilled in him valuable principles that he carried throughout his life.
He leaves behind a grieving family that includes his mother, Emma Barrientes; siblings, Jesse Hernandez, Bobby Barrientos, Estella Barrientes, Martha Barrientes, Lionel Barrientos, Gabriel Barrientos, David (Nora) Barrientes, Celia Barrientes; and Edward Barrientos. Additionally, he will be deeply missed by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
To honor Nano's memory, his family has arranged a series of services. The visitation will take place on September 16, 2023, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville, Texas, starting at 9:00 AM. The holy rosary will be recited starting at 9:30 AM with a funeral service to follow at 10:00 AM. These gatherings are an opportunity for friends and family to come together, share stories, and pay their respects to a remarkable individual who touched their lives.
Victoriano "Nano" Barrientes, Jr. will forever be remembered as a loving son, devoted sibling, and treasured friend. His infectious laughter and unwavering ability to bring joy into the lives of others will leave an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to know him. As we bid farewell to Nano, let us also remember the wonderful memories that he left behind and strive to keep his spirit alive by emulating his kind-heartedness and sense of humor.
May he rest in eternal peace.
