Victoria Tijerina

Victoria L. Tijerina 86 of Kingsville Texas passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022.

Victoria was a loving and caring mother and took care of a disabled daughter (veteran for 51 years). She loved to play piano, guitar, and sing. She will be dearly missed by her family, and all who knew her.

Victoria is preceded in death by her parents; Victoria Saldana and Jose Lopez, brothers; Jose Placido Lopez, Major Hector Lauro Lopez, sisters; Hilda Martinez, Marina Cadriel, grandson; Ian C. Tijerina, granddaughter; Vanessa T. Grayson.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years Francisco V. Tijerina, two daughters; Mary M. Tijerina and Maria Nela (Jose +) Ochoa, three sons; Juan M. (Adel) Tijerina, Daniel (Diana) Tijerina, Pastor David (Alicia) Tijerina, sister; Myrtala Garcia, 13 grandchildren (honorary granddaughter Alyssa V. Ochoa), 17 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Pall bearers will be David Tijerina, Edlendo Ochoa, John Tijerina, Isaac Tijerina, Rolando Mejorado, Eric Torres.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A final viewing will take place at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Turcotte Piper Mortuary. Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
