Victor Moreno

Victor Medina Moreno, age 63, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 in Kingsville. He was born January 24, 1951 in Kingsville to Lorenzo Moreno and Eriberta Medina Moreno. In his early years, Victor was employed by various grocery stores as a butcher. Afterwards he was employed by Celanese Corporation for 30 years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Gertrudes Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Amador Moreno.
Victor is survived by his wife of 44 years of marriage, Anna Linda Moreno of Kingsville two daughters, Lori Moreno and Vanessa Perez and husband Javier, both of Ricardo, Texas one son, Victor JR Moreno and wife Candice of Bishop, Texas two brothers, Vicente Moreno and Nicolas Moreno and wife Janie, both of Kingsville four sisters, Gertie Moreno late Amador of Corsicana, Texas, Julie Najera and husband Rey of Houston, Texas, Frances Chapa and husband Silvestre of Kingsville and Cynthia Peralta and husband David of Corpus Christi, Texas and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will take place after 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited by Carlos Garza Jr. at 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at St. Gertrudes Catholic Church with Fr. James Stembler as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Resthaven Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
