Velma Leubert

Velma Lee Leubert, 84, a Kingsville resident, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013. She was born on October 3, 1928 to Edo and Martha Hoepken in Yorktown, Texas.
She was a member of Kleberg County Ladies Golf Association. She retired from the Kleberg County Tax Office. She loved her family, lifelong friend, Hallie Forke, her coffee group, golf friends and in the past she was an avid golfer and of course, she enjoyed shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents husband, John David Buddy Leubert and son, David Wayne Leubert.
Velma is survived by her son, Douglas Susan Leubert daughter, Dianne Roy Medina Leubert grandson, Jason Christina Leubert, two granddaughters Amber Donnie Perrigue, Erin Leubert stepgranddaughter, Theresa Medina great granddaughters, Madison Perrigue, Makenna Perrigue and Annabella Medina brother, Alton Janie Hoepken sister, Dorothy Hester, sisterinlaw, Alva Clarence Arndt.
Family received friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, August 26, 2013. Funeral Service was held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at TurcottePiper Mortuary. Burial followed at Chamberlain Cemetery.
