Thomas Kelly

Thomas Tom Sanford Kelly, 90, a resident of Baytown, Texas and a former longtime resident of Kingsville and Bishop, Texas passed away Friday, July 18, 2014 in Baytown. Mr. Kelly was born August 15, 1923 in Nueces County, Texas to John Sanford Kelly and Ida Harlan Kelly. He was employed by Champlin Petroleum Company until his retirement. Mr. Kelly was the sexton of Restland Cemetery, Bishop, Texas.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Kelly parents three brothers, Harlan, Joe and Levi Kelly and one sister, Louise Setliff.
He is survived by one son, Tommy Kelly of Beeville, Texas two daughters, Linda Adcox and husband D.B. and Nancy Kelly, both of Baytown one sister, Mildred Brown of Dallas, Texas three grandchildren, Kelly, Courtney and Brian and four greatgrandchildren, Riley, Kylan, Tyler and Sage.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, 311 East Fifth Street, Bishop, Texas with Rev. Clif Abshier officiating.
