Terry Bounds

Terry Lee Bounds, 79, passed away at his home on June 11, 2017. Terry Lee was born in Rockdale, Texas on July 19, 1937 to Milam and Anne Bounds. They moved to Kingsville shortly thereafter.
He graduated from Henrietta M. King High school, then attended Texas A& I University. Terry was a member of the Elks Lodge, also involved in Boy Scouts of America and the Kingsville Swim Team. He worked for Author Brothers Construction Company for twenty nine years and was superintendent for Sizemore Construction Company. Also, Terry was fire chief for the Ricardo Volunteer Firemen Association. He was a persistent hunter and fisherman who enjoyed all the challenges of those sports. Terry was a dad who always wanted to spend time and travel with his children and grandchildren; he was devoted to all their needs and activities. Terry lived at his lake house, at Lake Mathis since his retirement and enjoyed spending time with his family including his children and their spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Milam and Anne Bounds and his brother, Tony Bounds.
He is survived by his wife, Jean, of 55 years and his brothers, Jim (Sally) Bounds and Tim (Ana Dean) Bounds.

Grandchildren: Megan Brown (Brett), Amanda Waltman (Sam), Bethany Heseman, Sam Johnson, Rachel Bounds; Lisa Garcia (Manuel), Elizabeth Bounds, Christopher Bounds, Lee Bounds, David Johnson, Hannah Rhoden, Anne Johnson, Madeline Rhoden, Ric Anthony Molinar, Matthew Bounds, Rebecca Rhoden, Jacob Bounds
Great Grandchildren: Ashton Brown, Caleb Heseman, Isabella Garcia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday June 16, 2017 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Reception will follow at St. Gertrude.
