Teresa Fanning

Teresa "Terry" Fanning, age 76, passed away on December 4, 2018 in Kingsville, Texas. Teresa was born on June 15, 1942 in Premont, Texas to Raul Recio Sr. and Eliza Lerma Recio. Terry was a local business owner who faithfully and diligently ran her shop Serenity Now with the help of her friends and coworkers. Her passion for her industry motivated her to share her gift with others in the community by frequently providing beauty services for the elderly or home bound. She was an active member in the church and would sing for the congregation on a regular basis. Terry deeply loved her family, friends, and dog Harley and will be deeply missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and sister-in-law, Albesa "Becky" Recio.
Teresa is survived by her three sons, Clif (Imelda) Tinney II of San Antonio,Tx., Paul Allen Tinney of Kingsville, Tx., and J.J. Fanning of Corpus Christi, Tx.; two grandchildren, Krystal Elizabeth Tinney of San Antonio, Tx., McKenna Jane Fanning of Dallas, Tx.; three brothers, Israel (Eva) Recio, Reynaldo Recio, and Raul (Yolanda) Recio, Jr. all of Premont, Tx. and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service to be held at 1:00 p.m. that same day at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Services are to conclude at the Chapel.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Texas 78363.
