Teodosa Perez

Teodosa Toche G. Perez, age 83, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Friday, September 20, 2013 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born March 4, 1930 in Kingsville to Arnulfo Gonzalez and Maria Cantu Gonzalez. Mrs. Perez was employed as a secretary for the Kingsville Independent School District until her retirement. She was actively involved in the Kleberg County Democratic Party. She was a board member of Chamberlain Cemetery. Toche was an active member of St. Martins Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Martins Altar Society and charter member of the Catholic Daughters and Columbian Ladies. Toche was known in the community for reciting rosaries at local funeral homes.
She was preceded in death by her parents son, Oscar Ray Perez and two sisters, Berta G. Silva and Celia G. Barrera.
Toche is survived by her husband of 64 years of marriage, Israel Ray Perez of Kingsville two sons, Rogerio Roy Omar Perez Olga of Raymondville, Texas and Arnulfo Nufo Perez Donna of Merritt Island, Florida two sisters, Ofelia G. Garza Renato and Irene G. Garza, both of Kingsville five grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will take place after 5:30 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2013 at St. Martins Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2013 at St. Martins Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at St. Martins Catholic Church with Fr. Jose Naul Ordonez as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
