Ted Patterson

Ted L. Patterson, age 96, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014 in Kingsville. He was born August 22, 1917 in Hackett, Arkansas to Albert Patterson and Dora Starr Patterson. Ted was employed as a carpenter in the Corpus Christi, Texas area. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Ann Patterson son, Billy T. Franklin brother, Calvin Patterson two sisters, May Hensley and Elizabeth Woolard and parents.
Mr. Patterson is survived by three sons, Perry Joe Goss Dee of Corpus Christi, Texas, Jimmy Patterson Patricia of Tularosa, New Mexico and Wayne Patterson Ann of Kingsville one daughter, Betty States of Roswell, New Mexico one sister, Loraine Smith of LaVernia, Texas 15 grandchildren numerous greatgrandchildren and several greatgreatgrandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, with Rev. Jim M. Curran officiating. After the graveside service, full military honors will follow provided by the Veterans of Kleberg County Military Funeral Detail.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
