Susan Cochren-Collier

Susie took her final rest at home on February 5, 2016 surrounded by family.
She was born May 22, 1956 in Ohio. Susie made her way to Texas as a young girl with her family, although her family returned to Ohio.
Susie fell in love with Texas and set her roots in deep. She is survived by her children Amanda Cherry, Bonnie Nash, Angela Collier (Steven), Michael Collier II (Marissa); her grandchildren, Hannah,Jo-Nathan, Liam,Jo-Caleb and Khloe; her siblings, Sandra(Joseph) O'Bryan andCandace (Harry) Turner,both of Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Virginia Cochren; her brothers, Michael, Frank, Thomas and Timothy; and sisters, Dottie and Pamela.
Susie treasured her friendship with Randy Ware, who was not only her boss but was considered her family.
For the last 30 years Susie has served her community as a welcoming face to all she encountered. Her greatest accomplishments in life are her four children, but her greatest joy are her five grandchildren, whom she cherished. To say she was a hard working lady would be a understatement. She enjoyed life and met each day with a smile on her face.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 6 p.m. at the Turcotte Piper Mortuary Chapel.
