Steven Paige Jr.

Steven Samuel Paige Jr. of Kingsville passed away August 16, 2016. He was born in Mobile, Alabama on September 30, 1943 to Steven S. and Ernestine Paige. He moved to Kingsville in the late 70's and worked as a commercial truck driver. He met and married Gloria Jean Oliver Paige, who has preceded him in death.
He is survived by seven children: Christina S. Paige-Parker of Kingsville, Texas, Lisa Paige-Huntington of Conroe, Texas, Sovieta Jones, Sharlean Edwards of Alabama,; sons, James Paige Sr. of Alabama, Neal Paige of Alabama, and Ken Smith Paige of Alabama; two brothers: Rev. Von Paige, Marcine Paige of Alabama; three sisters: Gloria J. Paige-Grant, LaDean Paige-Johnson, Sheila Paige. He has a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow in Santa Gertrudis Cemetery
