Sophia Garza

Sophia N. Garza, age 89 went to be with our Lord on November 13, 2016 in Pflugerville, TX. She was born in Riviera, TX on June 11, 1927 to Carlos and Rosenda Naranjo. Sophia had worked at the Brown School in Austin, TX until her retirement. Sophia dedicated her life to her beloved family and she will be missed dearly. She is preceded in death by her husband Jose B. Garza and all her brothers and sister.

She is survived by her children, Joe (Martha-wife), David (Gail-wife), Esther and Rick (Jackie-wife); nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A Rosary will be recited on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Turcotte Piper Mortuary. A Mass will be held on Saturday November 19th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Guadalupe Catholic Church in Riviera, Texas. Internment will follow at the Riviera Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville Texas.
