Sheri Banks

Sheri Ann Banks, loving wife, mother, and daughter, entered into eternal rest on the morning of Wednesday, January 24, 2018. She was 43 years old.

Sheri was born on April 9, 1974 in Houston, Texas and was of the Christian faith. A 1994 graduate of Riviera High School in Riviera, Texas, Sheri lived most of her life in Texas. She moved to Warner Robins 13 years ago where she met and married her husband, Gary Howard Banks. Sheri retired from Parts Central in Macon.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Banks; her mother, Julie Mittag; and her sister, Vicki Mittag Webster.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 10 years, Gary Banks of Warner Robins; step-daughters, Jessie Whitehead (Joel) of Macon, Jenny Gunn (Ryan) of Centerville, and Kellie Morgan (James) of Warner Robins; and father and stepmother, Raymond and Bobbie Mittag of Riviera, Texas.

Sheri will be laid to rest in a graveside service at Riviera Cemetery in Riviera, Texas at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2018.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Sheri Ann Banks to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, to the Riviera Scholarship Foundation, P.O. Box 96, Riviera, Texas 78379, or a charity of your choice.
