Shane Gunter

Shane Gunter, age 44, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, June 26, 2016. He was born on February 3, 1972 to Richard Gunter and Star Dawlearn Gunter in Houston, Texas. Shane was an avid outdoors man and he enjoyed cooking for others. He was a devoted husband,
and his children thought the world of him. Shane was a big man with a big heart. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. He was also a man of great patience.

Shane is survived by his parents, Richard and Star Gunter. His wife of six years, Ronnie Gunter; two daughters, Sanora Rose Gunter and Sarita Marie Gunter; one brother, Clint(Michelle) Gunter; sister, Brandi (Tony) Ramirez; nephews Anthony Ramirez, Josh St. Andre and Justin St. Andre; nieces, Katie Ramirez and Nisa Pena.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Riviera, Texas at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Riviera Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
