Samuel Ramirez

Samuel Sam Ram Escobedo Ramirez, age 57, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Monday, November 17, 2014 in Kingsville. He was born November 19, 1956 in Lubbock, Texas to Eduardo Ramirez and Dorcas Escobedo Ramirez. Sam Ram was a professional artist in the Kingsville area. He was a substitute art professor at Texas AI University Kingsville. Fresenius Company recognized Sam Ram as one of the few patients who lived after 25 years on dialysis. He began dialysis in May 1977.
He was preceded in death by his parents three brothers, Teodoro Ramirez, Eloy Ramirez and Eduardo Ramirez Jr. and two sisters, Dorothy Sue Rodriguez and Santos Aguilar.
Samuel is survived by two sisters, Pauline Carabajal of George West, Texas and Cylinda Nunez Esteban Hernandez of Kingsville and one brother, Robert Lee Ramirez Tules of Kingsville and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will take place after 9:30 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Coastal Bend Fellowship, 1500 East Caesar Avenue, Kingsville. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Coastal Bend Fellowship with Rev. Noe Trevino officiating.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
