Rudolph Avalos Sr.

Rudolph Avalos Sr., 61, passed away on November 20, 2020 in Bishop, Texas. He was born on June 23, 1959 in Elgin, Texas to Ernesto Avalos and Refugia Vega Avalos.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ernesto Avalos & Refugia Vega Avalos; three brothers, Ernesto Avalos Jr, Roy Avalos & Johnny Avalos; and one sister, Refugia Montenegro.

He is survived by his spouse Maria Avalos; five children, Ruby Avalos Lara and husband Miguel of Big Spring, TX, Kristie Avalos of Midland, TX, Rudolph Avalos Jr. of Big Spring, TX, Priscilla Enriquez and spouse Rosalva of Big Spring, TX; step-son Lorenzo Ontiveros Jr. of Big Spring, TX; 13 grandchildren; three sisters Mary Valdez of Post TX, Manuela Benavides and Ernestina Rangel both from Slanton, TX; five brothers Tomas Avalos and wife Ramona of Tahoka TX, Eugene Avalos and wife Velma of Corpus Christi, TX, Jessie Avalos of Nederland, Tx, Paul Avalos and wife Margie of Dreskio, TX, Arturo Avalos and wife Virginia of Bishop, Tx; also leaving behind Merida Herrera & 5 step-children; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow that same evening at 7:00 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary.
