Ruby Winkler

Ruby M. (Phillips) Winkler, former longtime resident of Bishop, following a long illness, went home to her Heavenly Father, Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Grace Care Center, in Katy, Texas. She was born in Stillwell, Oklahoma on April 13, 1927.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Winkler, daughter Gail Winkler, 7 siblings and her parents Benjamin and Sadie Phillips.
She is survived by, her daughter Elizabeth Davis and husband Charles of Katy, Texas, grandchildren, Bonnittia Grove(Charles), Crystal Harrell (Berry), Fred White (Kimberly), all of Tulsa, Cynthia Davis and Brandy Payne (Stan) of Katy, Texas. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a Legacy of Faith.
The family would like to thank Dr. Medrano and the staff of Grace Care Center as well as the staff of ALLSTAR Hospice Care for providing compassionate care for the past 6 weeks.
Visitation will be Monday, May 21 from 6pm to 8pm at Turcotte - Piper Mortuary in Kingsville, Texas and Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 22 at 11am at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Ruby Winkler to the Alzheimer's Association or Kingsway Family Church, 1727 Senator Carlos Truan Blvd., Kingsville, TX 78363.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos blvd. Kingsville, Tx 78363.
