Roy Pena

Roy Peña, 64, of Kingsville, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on February 7, 1952 in Kingsville, Texas to Benjamin C. and Inez J. Peña.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria G. Peña; parents, Benjamin and Inez Pena; and one brother, Oscar J. Peña.
He is survived by his four children, Christina Barrera (Eli) of Bishop, Texas, Oscar Michael Peña (Christie) of San Diego, California, Leticia Peña (Justo Salinas) and Melissa Camarillo (Tim), both of Kingsville; five brothers, Benjamin Peña Jr. (Bootsie) of Tomball, Texas, Carlos Peña of Mineral Wells, Texas, Ruben Peña of White Settlement, Texas, Angel Peña of Brownsville, Texas and Albert Peña (Mary) of Kingsville; four sisters; Alma A. Perez (Mike) of Brownsville, Texas, Rosie Andrado of Ingleside, Texas, Martha Mayorga of San Antonio, Texas and Janie Vasquez (Sonny) of Kingsville; four grandchildren, Robert Richardson, Ryan Richardson, Isabelle Peña and Ethan Peña; his stepmother, Maria Peña; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Public visitation will take place on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at King's Way Family Church located at 1727 East Carlos Truan Blvd, Kingsville, with Pastor Jose Angel De La Paz and Pastor Edwin Cann officiating. Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
