Rosaena "Rosie" Suarez

Rosaena "Rosie" Suarez, beloved spouse, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She passed away on November 24, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy that will continue to resonate within the hearts of those who loved her.

Born on March 18, 1961, Rosie was a remarkable woman whose warm presence made the world around her brighter. Her life was defined not only by her unwavering commitment to her family but also by her dedication to her work. In 1979, she joined Economy Prints and devoted herself wholeheartedly to its success. Throughout the years, Rosie's industrious spirit and unwavering dedication contributed greatly to the company's growth. Her hard work did not go unnoticed, and she eventually rose to become a co-owner of Economy Prints – a proudest accomplishment that was the culmination of numerous years of dedication and perseverance.

While Rosie excelled in her career, she also managed to find time for the passions that brought her immense joy. In moments of solitude, she would often be found with a needle in hand, skillfully sewing beautiful creations that showcased her creativity and attention to detail. Music held a special place in Rosie's heart as well; it was through melodies that she found solace and inspiration. And let us not forget Rosie's exceptional culinary skills – her delicious meals were synonymous with love and became cherished memories for all fortunate enough to taste them.

Rosie was preceded in death by her parents Gilberto and Inez Acuna, sister Marianela Guajardo, brother Arnold Acuna, and nephew Mike Acuna.

Above all else, Rosie valued time spent with family. Rosie leaves behind her spouse, David Perez, daughter Melinda Suarez, her siblings Rene (Lupita) Acuna, Eddie (Lynette) Acuna, and Juan Acuna, her grandson Devin Salazar, and numerous extended family members.

To honor her memory, a service will be held for Rosaena "Rosie" Suarez on Friday, December 1, 2023, beginning at 5:00pm and ending at 9:00pm. During this time, the family will receive condolences as we look back on the memories we will forever cherish. We will begin reciting the holy rosary at 7:00pm that evening, and this will conclude the services for Friday. An interment will take place on a later date, December 9, 2023, at 10:00am, at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery. Following the interment, the family will be having a lunch at Central Baptist Church and would like to invite all friends and loved ones who can make it.

The loss of Rosie Suarez has left an unimaginable void in the hearts of all who loved her.  As we say our goodbyes today, let us also remember that Rosie would want us to celebrate the beautiful moments we shared with her – for it is through celebration that we honor the legacy she leaves behind. Though Rosie may no longer be physically present, her spirit will forever guide and inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may we find comfort in knowing that her legacy of love lives on within each of us.
