Rosa Mireles

Rosa Velia Mireles, 73, passed away on October 2, 2020 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on September 11, 1947 to Agapito and Petronila Alaniz. Rosa loved spending time with her family and friends and will be missed dearly.

She is preceded in death by both her parents; husband, Juan De Dios Mireles; brother, Roque Luis Alaniz; and her twin grandchildren, Francisco & Maria Cervantes.

Rosa is survived by her children, Mauro Mireles (Jaine), Maria Hernandez (Jose Luis), Eliezar Mireles (Rosalinda), Juan Angel Mireles (Estrella), and Arcilia Castillo (Roberto); her siblings, Ramona (Jose Natividad) Gamez, and Regina (Dionisio) Mireles; 14 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral mass will follow at Our Lady of Good Counsel at 12:00 p.m.
