Rolando Chapa, Jr.

Rolando "Roy" G. Chapa Jr., age 44, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at his residence. He was born December 27, 1972 in Alice, Texas to Rolando Chapa Sr. and Lupita Galvan Chapa. Roy was employed as an operator for Celanese Chemical Plant. He was a member of St. Gertrude's Catholic Church.
Roy is survived by his wife, Jessica Chapa of Kingsville; one daughter, Olivia Nicole Chapa of Kingsville; stepson, Gilbert Rios III of Kingsville; parents, Rolando Chapa Sr. and Lupita Galvan Chapa of Kingsville; paternal grandmother, Isabel Perkins of Corpus Christi, Texas; two brothers, Michael Chapa and Mark Chapa, both of Kingsville; mother-in-law, Fanie Munoz of Kingsville; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins and great friends.
Public visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2017 at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
