Rolando Bazan

Rolando L. Bazan, 60, passed away on January 20, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Kingsville, Texas on May 6, 1960 to Adelfina Lomas and Jose Enrique Bazan. He was the proud owner of Henry’s Glass Shop for more than 25 years. Rolando was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed watching baseball and basketball. He would even coach little leagues in the community. His family was everything to him, and he was their number one protector. He will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jose E. Bazan.

Rolando is survived by his wife of 16 years, Nilda Bazan; mother, Adelfina L. Bazan; children, Javier (Roxanne) De La Paz, Jeanette Amanda Naranjo, Vanessa (Francisco) Almazan, Rolando Bazan Jr., Marivel Bazan; 4 grandchildren; family dog, Paco; siblings, Veronica (Alejandro) Fabela, Irma Bazan, Elma (Rogelio) Nunez, Thelma Arispe, Rene (Noelia) Bazan, Elizabeth (David) Harris, Jose E. Bazan Jr., Alejandro Bazan; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
