Roel Nunez

Roel Nunez, 55, passed away on October 20, 2018 in Kingsville, Texas. He was born on August 13, 1963 to Lorenzo Nunez, Sr. and Josefa Alaniz. Roel was the owner of Straight Edge Landscape Nursery. He was a loving uncle, son, brother, cousin and friend.
He is proceeded in death by his mother, Josefa Alaniz Lopez; step father, Oscar Lopez; loving sister, Rosalinda N. Hinojosa, and brother-in-law Gabriel Hinojosa.
He is survived by his niece whom he loved as a daughter, Rocio G. (Edwin Jacob) Hinojosa-Rivera of Kingsville, Texas ; his four legged companion, Bentley of Kingsville, Texas; father, Lorenzo (Mary) Nunez Sr. of San Diego, Texas; two brothers, Lorenzo (Cynthia) Nunez, Jr. of San Diego, Texas and Daniel (Toni) Nunez of Wichita Falls, Texas; two nephews, Johnny Joe Nunez of Driscoll, Texas, and Lorenzo Nunez III of San Diego, Texas; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday October 26, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Service will follow the rosary. Private family burial to be held at a later date.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Texas.
