With each stitch woven into her nursing career, Rochelle cared deeply for her patients, leaving a legacy of kindness and human connection. Rochelle embraced every challenge with an open heart, fostering respect and admiration among her colleagues and peers.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Rochelle found joy in the simpler pleasures of life. Her passion for gardening allowed her to cultivate beauty, both in her yard and in the hearts of those who beheld it. Travels to her hometown of Annapolis brought her immeasurable joy, particularly when shared alongside her beloved poodle, Chloe. Rochelle is survived by her two sons, Derek Simms and J.B. Jones Jr., as well as her cherished grandchildren: Shawn, Chris, Felicia, Jayden, London, and Jordan. She was predeceased by her husband, J.B. Jones Sr., and her daughter, Desiree Jolene Simms.

A funeral service For Rochelle will take place on January 9, 2025, at the same location at 11:00 AM. The interment will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on January 10, 2025, at 10:30 AM.
