Roberto Montiel, Jr

Roberto Montiel Jr., age 67, went to be with our Lord on January 6, 2016. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His memories will be cherished forever.
Roberto is preceded in death by his parents Ofelia Tijerina and Roberto Montiel Sr. and one son Jose Rene Montiel.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years Elma G. Montiel; one daughter, Sarita (Sylvester) Suarez Jr. from Riviera, TX; one grandson, Sylvester (Sarah) Suarez III; three granddaughters, Kimberly Suarez of Kingsville, Tx., Jessica Suarez, Alexandria Suarez both from Riviera :Two great grandchildren. Adriana R. and Jeremiah D. Suarez both of Kingsville, Texas; Sisters, Maria (Robert) Hernandez, Sylvia Montiel both of Raymondville and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private visitation will be held on Sunday January 10, 2016 from 5:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. at the Turcotte Piper Mortuary, visitation will continue on Monday January 11, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Turcotte Piper Mortuary. A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Turcotte Piper Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow at the Riviera Cemetery.
