Rita Hinojosa

Rita S. Hinojosa was taken to Heaven and embraced by her Lord and reunite with her husband and children on Friday, Dec. 20, 2013. Rita was a loving, dedicated and energetic wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, greatgrandmother, greatgreat grandmother and friend to those who knew her. Her dedication to her family was immeasurable.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Faustino and Eva Saenz husband, Martin D. Hinojosa two sons and infant daughter, Gaspar, Rodolfo and Sylvia Hinojosa. She was one of 10 children which included 3 brothers Faustino, David and Johnny Saenz and 6 sisters, Estella, Elisa, Gloria, Thelma, Ercilia and Norma.
Rita is survived by 7 children, Evaristo Billy Hinojosa and Mary of Corpus Christi, TX, Adan Hinojosa and Marty of Apache Junction, Arizona, Tomas Hinojosa and Dolores, Petra H. Reyna and Donald of Cuero, TX, Dalia H. Esquivel and Heriberto of McAllen, TX, Herlinda H. Walle and Macario of Huntsville, TX and Eva H. Shiver of Huntsville, TX. She was blessed with 22 grandchildren, 30 greatgrandchildren with one on the way and 1 greatgreat grandchild
Public visitation will be held after 5:00 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at St. Martins Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tony Hinojosa, Evaristo Hinojosa, Jr., Joseph D. Valencia, Heriberto Esquivel Jr., Gasper Hinojosa II and Michael R. Reyna.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
