Rita Furman

Rita Doreen Furman, 73, was called to her eternal resting place on Monday, October 3, 2016 with her husband by her side in Kingsville, Texas. She was born February 21, 1943 in Junction City, Kansas to Errol and Oral Anderson.

Rita loved traveling where she could walk hand-in-hand with her husband, enjoying sand, crystal blue water and palm trees. Rita was a real estate agent with Betty Haass Realtors for over 25 years. Rita loved working with people and helping them find their perfect home. As a valued member, she devoted much of her time and attention to Christ United Methodist Church, and previously active member with the American Heart Association, Community Bible Study and Republican Woman's Club.

Rita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 55 years Dallas Dee Furman,
One daughter, Kelly Sue (Pier) Cappellatti of Edgerton, Kansas and one son Dallas Wayne (Jena) Furman of La Vernia, Texas and one brother Errol (Sarah) Anderson; many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and extended family

A memorial service was held Friday, October 7, 2016 at Christ United Methodist Church in Kingsville, Texas.
Following the service, the United Methodist Women welcome friends and family to visit while enjoying light refreshments.
