Richard Myers

Richard Jordan "Dickie" Myers, age 59, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 in Kingsville. He was born May 22, 1955 in Kingsville to Richard and Joann Myers. Richard was a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Myers was preceded in death by his father, Richard J. Myers.
He is survived by his mother, Joann Nix of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Amanda Myers and Amy Myers, both of Kingsville; one son, Benjamin "BJ" Myers of Kingsville; two sisters, Georgia Bishop (Dave) of Florida and Katy Myers of Houston, Texas; former wife, Heidi Myers Medrano of Kingsville; three grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
Visitation took place from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service was held at 3:15 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2015 with Rev. Rodney Light officiating. Full military honors provided by the Veterans of Kleberg County Funeral Military Detail took place outside of the mortuary immediately after the funeral service.
Services were entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
