Richard West LeBleu, aka Rock, went to join his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 4, 2018, after a brave battle with cancer that he wittingly named Goliath. He was born on April 16, 1945, to Rob Seale "Dick" LeBleu and Mary LaVern West LeBleu in Corpus Christi. He lived 73 years exploring life's travels and making friends everywhere he went. He grew up as his daddy's best friend helping him to conduct daily tasks on the family ranch. He also honored and cherished his mother for her strength and tenacity. Richard graduated high school from Banquete and later joined the Army Reserve. After which he graduated from the DPS Academy, subsequently moving on to proudly serve as a Texas State Trooper for thirty years. After retirement, he traveled the United States with his best friend and life partner, Gayle Cordell LeBleu, whom he proudly married on February 14, 2015.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle Cordell LeBleu, of Riviera, Texas; his sister, Gaye Powell (Sam) of Calallen, Texas; one daughter and one son; four grandchildren; three step-sons; four additional grandchildren; and cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends he made during his life.
