Rhudine West

Rhudine E. West passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016 at the age of 84. She was born November 4, 1931 to Edgar Evans and Fannie Lee Ellett in Rochester, Texas.


A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Rhudine enjoyed spending time with her family as well as traveling. She was a life-long member of St. Gertrude's Catholic Church and former member of Columbia Ladies.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 64 years, Maxie E. West of Kingsville, Texas; five children, Gary West of Mathis, Debbie (Jimmy) Rogers of Kingsville, Sharon Criscione of Mobile, Alabama, David West of San Antonio, and Carol West of Kingsville; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one brother, Jack (Jackie) Ellett of Ft. Worth and one sister, Faye (Otto) Baethge of La Vernia, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church in Kingsville, Texas. Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
