Rebecca Espinosa

Rebecca Espinosa, age 90, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in Kingsville. She was born February 17, 1923 in McQueeney, Texas to Remigio and Soccoro Cobarruvias. She was a teachers aide for the Head Start Program until her retirement. Mrs. Espinosa was a faithful member of St. Martins Catholic Church. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Americas Last Patrol and Blue Star Mother.
Mrs. Espinosa was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Martin Espinosa.
She is survived by one son, Samuel Espinosa Paula of Austin, Texas three daughters, Soila Obregon of Kingsville, Yolanda C. Espinosa of Liberty Hill, Texas and Margie Green Rufus of Houston, Texas five grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will take place after 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 5, 2013 at St. Martins Catholic Church with Fr. Naul Ordonez as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Resthaven Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
