Raul Ruiz

Raul Ruiz, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the age of 86. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Raul enjoyed hunting, fishing, bbq with family and friends; he was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather.  Raul will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Oralia Perez.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Raul Ruiz, Jr (Nora) of Corpus Christi, TX and David Ruiz (Gracie) of Bishop, TX; daughters, Belia Aleman (Adam) of Corpus Christi, Tx, Sylvia Hasssatte (Felipe) of Corpus Christi, TX., Lisa Figueroa (Nasario) of Bishop, TX., and Belma Flores (Roy) of Alice, TX.; 15 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A chapel service will take place on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at 10:30 AM at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary.  Rite of Committal with military honors will   follow at 1:00 PM at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, TX.
