Raul Puente

Raul T. Puente, age 83 a resident of Bishop, Texas passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 28, 2013. He was born on December 7, 1929 to Juan and Maria Torres Puente in Bishop. He retired after 30 years of service from N.A.S. Corpus Christi and was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma and son, Tito.
He is survived by his daughter Andrea Andie, granddaughter, Monet both of Bishop two brothers, Ruben Enriqueta of Sandia, and Avedon Pat of Chicago, Illinois also a very special nephew who is his namesake, Raul Melinda Puente of Lubbock, Texas.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at TurcottePiper Mortuary in Kingsville. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church in Bishop. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery, Bishop.
