Raul Garcia

Raul “RC” Garcia, 43, passed away on January 2, 2021 in Kingsville, Texas. He was born on June 12, 1977 in Kingsville, Texas to Sylvia and Jesus R. Garcia, Jr. RC enjoyed spending time with his wife and family. He loved fishing, hunting, and attending concerts. RC’s most prized accomplishment in life was being an aircraft mechanic, he truly loved his job. His favorite football team was the Denver Broncos. On his off time, he enjoyed BBQing and having company over to enjoy his cooking. He was a very fun, loving, and compassionate man that will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Leonila R. and Jesus Garcia, Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Petra V. and Abraham Cecilio Campos.

Raul is survived by his parents, Sylvia and Jesus R. Garcia, Jr.; wife, Glenda Garcia; children, Alexandra Garcia, Zaiden Garcia, Anzeli Garcia; stepson, Damien Salazar; siblings, Debra Sandoval (Guadalupe, III), Jesus Manuel Garcia, Nora Jean Benitez (George); five nieces; one great-niece; and one great-nephew.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
