Ramon Ortiz, Jr.

Ramon Ortiz Jr., age 65, a resident of Bishop, Texas passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born July 16, 1949 in Kingsville to Ramon Ortiz Sr. and Emilia Ortiz. Ramon was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Bishop.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Ortiz Sr. and brother, Noe Ortiz.
Survivors, all of Bishop, include his mother, Emilia Ortiz, brother, Ernesto Ortiz, sisterinlaw, Janie Ortiz, and three nieces, Christina Zambrano, Celia Mendez and Erica Orta.
Visitation will take place after 5:00 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2014 at St. James Catholic Church in Bishop, Texas. Graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2014 at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, Corpus Christi, Texas.
