Rachel Galindo

Rachel Moreno Galindo, 65 of Kingsville, Texas passed away on January 5, 2020 in Kingsville, Texas. Rachel was born in Kingsville, Texas to Antonio and Helena Moreno on October 25, 1954. Rachel enjoyed spending time with her family and grand-children. She worked as a health provider for 10 years. Before that she enjoyed working with children at daycare. Rachel was a member of Templo Betel Assembly of God Church.

Rachel is survived by her husband Henry Galindo of 10 years, her son Christopher Cuellar, siblings including her brothers Antonio Moreno Jr. (Grace), Mario Moreno, Rogelio Moreno and Leonel Moreno (Belma). Sisters including Nelda R. Perez (Juan), Irene Palacios (Andres), and Odilia Garza (Alberto). She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews, and 18 grand-nieces and nephews. Rachel was blessed with step-children Maurice Galindo (Shannon), Christina Hagerty (Steven), Terry Alstatt, Jennifer Galindo (Dawn), Elizabeth Galindo Villarreal (Kenneth), Jonathon Galindo, and Josie Galindo. Rachel enjoyed 9 grand-children (Steven, Louden, Bella, Malachi, Micah, Jayden, Aiden, Allie and Anissa) and 3 great grand-children (Nathen, Layla, and Jayce).

Rachel is preceded in death by her father Antonio Moreno and mother Helena Moreno.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 5:00 – 8:00 pm at Temple Bethel Assemblies with a prayer service at 7:00pm to follow. Funeral service will be held at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Garza officiating. Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery in Kingsville, Texas.
