Petra Saldana

Petra Hilaria Saldana, age 80, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 in Kingsville. She was born September 17, 1934 in Kingsville to Ascension and Francisca Palacios. Mrs. Saldana, a homemaker, was a member of St. Martins Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Adan Palacios.
Mrs. Saldana is survived by her husband, Guadalupe R. Saldana, Jr. of Kingsville children, Rachel Garcia, Guadalupe R. Saldana III Margarita, Eddie Saldana Lucy, Anna Saldana and Joe Saldana Cyndi two brothers, Julian Palacios and Juan Palacios sister, Eva Pena and numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will begin after 4:00 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited by Carlos Garza Jr. at 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at St. Martins Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
