Pedro Silguero, Jr.

Pedro Silguero Jr. 46, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on April 14, 2021.  He was born on September 17, 1974 in Kingsville, Texas to Pedro and Marianela Silguero.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Pedro is survived by his sister, Maricela (Cecilio) Obregon, Cousin who was like a brother, Jaime Medina, nephews, Sergio and Marco (Anna) Obregon and niece, Sarah Obregon, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pedro, better known as Peter began working at Beto’s Community Store in the meat market when he was only 15 years old.  He loved working and being around people and enjoyed serving his community.  Peter later joined the family business of trucking. Peter got his start working in the trade by tag teaming with his father who soon became a father/son duo of drivers.  He and his father traveled the country together delivering goods and services for various communities.  Throughout his life, Peter drove for various companies throughout South Texas.  Peter was always the life of every party, he loved to dance, listen to music, sing and make people laugh.  He enjoyed BBQing with family and friends at gatherings.  He loved outdoor activities like hunting and riding horses at the family ranch. Peter’s radiant smile illuminated any room, he lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Monday April 19, 2021 at 5 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with a Rosary Service to commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 to begin at 9:00 am followed by a Mass Service at Our Lady of Good Counsel at 10:00 am.

A private burial for family will take place at a later time to be announced.
