Pedro Saenz

Pedro S. Saenz, age 94, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 at his residence. He was born January 2, 1922, in La Grulla, Texas to Eugenio Saenz and Josefa Soliz Saenz. Mr. Saenz was a transport truck driver until his retirement. He was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church and was also active in the St. Martin's Mutualistas Religious Organization.
Mr. Saenz was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Antonia R. Saenz; and parents.
He is survived by three daughters, Stella S. Garza (Jesus) of Stafford, Texas, Alice Cavazos (Pete) of Bishop, Texas and Lucy Alvarado (Enrique - deceased) of Kingsville; two sons, Pedro Saenz Jr. (Sandy) of Highlands, Texas and Joe R. Saenz of Kingsville; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited by Carlos Garza Jr. at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 25, 2016 at St. Martin's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
